Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 August 2026
These terms cover scarylasers.com and VideoAssistant, a private desktop application used by SCARYLASERS to publish its own videos.
What this software is
VideoAssistant is a personal tool. It runs on the operator's own computer, catalogues footage the operator recorded, assembles a short video from it, renders that video locally, and uploads the finished file to the operator's own YouTube channel.
It is not offered as a service. It is not distributed, sold, licensed or hosted for anyone else. There is no sign-up, no account system and no other user. These terms exist to state the basis on which the application operates, not to grant anyone a right to use it.
YouTube API Services
VideoAssistant uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
The YouTube API Services Terms of Service and the YouTube API Services Developer Policies apply to the operation of this application, and it is operated in accordance with them.
Information about what the application accesses and stores, and how to revoke its access, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Content
All footage published through VideoAssistant is recorded and owned by SCARYLASERS. The application provides no means of uploading content owned by anyone else, and is not used to do so.
Every upload is started deliberately by the operator, one video at a time, after the cut has been assembled and reviewed by hand. The application does not bulk upload, does not upload automatically generated content, and does not upload without human review.
Music, video and artwork on this site
Music, video, artwork and text published by SCARYLASERS remain the property of SCARYLASERS. You may share and embed published work using the platforms' own sharing features. Redistributing it as your own, or using it commercially, requires written permission — ask at the address below.
No warranty
This website and this software are provided as they are, with no warranty of any kind. SCARYLASERS is not liable for any loss arising from their use.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
